China Ship

China Ship was produced by David Watson and recorded at Metropolis Studios in London. Most of the basic tracks were recorded on the same day and the session was filmed. The band includes all three members of the Neil Cowley Trio, and singer Beth Rowley also features on one of the tracks. During the making of the album legendary producer Joe Boyd (Nick Drake, Fairport Convention) took a keen interest in Mark’s songs and signed him to his publishing label, Carthage Music. The song She’s A Rose is already being featured in an upcoming ITV drama, Anne.
